The purpose of issuance of notice arises only if the plaintiff seeks any relief against any act done by the Board in order to give it the opportunity to rectify its action. The section being a mandatory one is to be complied with and is applicable to all forms of action and all kinds of reliefs sought against Cantonment Board.
